B R O U H A H A
24x48” oil and modeling clay on canvas.
Meaning a “hubbub” or “commotion”, I felt the name BROUHAHA was fitting for this piece.
No planning went into BROUHAHA, just some good ol’ fashioned intuition and spontaneity. I used modeling clay to build up a variety of waves and patterns under the surface of the oil paint, and then went crazy with colors, textures, blending, and miscellaneous marks until I had a piece that was a whole lot of colors and a whole lot of fun.
It’s loud, it’s vivid, it’s BROUHAHA.
